What is the PAF Counselor Education

What is an exercise?

PAF exercises are based on the systemic constellation method. By using this method, underlying dynamics are made visible through physical images. Therefore, a common starting point is developed that everyone can then relate to, creating an overall greater understanding.

The systemic constellation method helps us understand our deep, subconscious level of thought, giving us insights into the behavioural patterns we have formed through our upbringing.

PAF exercises are easy to implement. There are various contexts where you can seamlessly incorporate the exercises using common tools and methods. Some PAF exercises can even be used as icebreakers.

All of the exercises focus on creating a community and space where emotions can be put into words.

The method focuses on positivity. When the positive is continually articulated, the children will be able to relate to each other better and approach situations with understanding, acceptance, and care.

The goal of PAF

The PAF culture aims to empower students to feel that they are a part of a community where everyone is aware of their own personalities while respecting and understanding those of one another.

PAF can be described as a “language” where we express what we feel and notice around us. It is a language that precedes learning.

As a part of the PAF Counselor Education, you will learn simple and straightforward exercises that help students develop inner peace, presence, and awareness of their own strengths and potential. The children will learn to express emotions and understand their body language.

You will also learn which underlying dynamics are important to highlight in order to strengthen individual students as well as the overall feeling of community.

When students feel confident and that they belong, and when teachers have a common starting point with an understanding of the individual students, then learning will happen in a more effortless and comfortable way.

As child and family researcher Per Schultz Joergensen says: “There is a need to strengthen the children’s characters.”

Get a taste of PAF

We’ll bring the founder of PAF, Mette Nordahl, to you!

Mette will train and educate you in an advanced, week-long workshop about PAF and the systemic constellation method.

The training will also be a form of personal development for you, as you will get to know yourself on a deeper level while learning. It is fundamental that you experience this transformation for yourself before using the exercises with children.

If you are not balanced and have not healed your own issues, how can you teach children to be balanced?

In addition to the week-long workshop and online lessons, Mette Nordahl will help you once a month with any questions you may have through a webinar.

However, if you have an urgent question that you need answered at any time, there is a PAF Counselor Facebook page where other PAF Counselors will be ready to help you.

Educate your teachers and do what's best for your students

In order for the future generations to feel confident in their strengths, you first need to know how to teach them. And in order to do that, you need to become aware of your own strengths and find the version of yourself that shines brighter than ever before.

I promise that if you do the work, PAF will help you find that version of yourself.
